Cleanliness, or lack thereof, is the biggest deal breaker when it comes to relationships
Please just be clean.
It’s important for all your relationships, not just romantic ones.
But if you are going out with someone, showering regularly, brushing, flossing, wiping are all conducive to a healthy, loving, and intimate relationship.
Not everyone is willing to put up with your unkempt and slobby behaviour as research shows it’s the number one deal breaker when it comes to dating.
And if the relationship ticks all the other boxes then make sure you tell them if their gym socks are making your eyes water or they don’t wash their bottom enough.
After all you don’t want to be the woman who found out her husband wasn’t wiping his bum because ‘real men’ don’t touch their assholes.
To find out the biggest off-putting traits, YouGov asked British men and women about the point of no return in their relationship.
Not being clean was voted the number one reason people would rethink being with someone, with 71% saying it was important to them.
In contrast, 21% said they would be uncomfortable if their partner cared more about cleanliness than them.
But people do care about other things when looking for a compatible SO.
Intelligence was deemed important too as most agreed that being with someone not on the same level as them would eventually signal the end.
Being less easy-going and having both different religious and political views from one another was also a big deal.
No wonder a record number of people cited ‘political reasons’ for their breakups in 2016, the year Trump was elected.
