Teens are happy with ONLINE-ONLY relationships!
One out of ten teenagers say they prefer strictly digital relationships while 1/5 say they are willing to do so. What’s contributed to teenagers dating over the web rather than in person?
More than 41% of kids feel it’s easier to express their feelings online than face to face. With the internet being an easy access to blogs, vlogs, and other outlets, it’s normal for youngsters to share their thoughts and problems with the world.
A recent survey, carried out by Internet Matters, amplifies the importance of children building “digital resilience” so they can learn to cope independently with the highs and lows of growing up in the digital world.
When people engage in a new relationship, they almost always try to look their best by dressing nice, fixing their hair, and smelling nice. Online dating has brought 1/3 of children to spend time editing photos to perfection before posting online.
Almost half of that population say they often or always post images of themselves having a great time! Wow… things have certainly changed since my time of being a teen.
